Jeff King

Jeff King is a Texas native, born and raised in Dallas. After earning his Bachelor’s Degree from Texas A&M University in 1998. In 2002, Jeff graduated from South Texas College of Law and joined the U.S. Marine Corps. Jeff served 8.5 years on active duty, where he successfully prosecuted and defended an unprecedented number of courts-martial, or military criminal cases. Jeff earned the rank of Major in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves.

Jeff’s personal decorations from his active service include being awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal three times, the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, and the Combat Action Ribbon.

As a Marine lawyer, Jeff earned a reputation as a tough and knowledgeable trial attorney whose advice was frequently sought from his fellow attorneys. In 2006, he had the opportunity to deploy with an infantry battalion in combat to Fallujah, Iraq, where he advised on rules of engagement, detainee operations, and was recognized as the most effective battalion judge advocate in the area of operations during that deployment.

Military Attorney Jeff King serves clients in all five branches of service and represents military clients based in the United States and all over the world.

Since leaving active duty, Jeff has continued his mission of preserving the rights of those accused and taking the fight to the courtroom. He has the education, training, experience and skill to handle even the toughest and most complicated cases. After moving back to Texas, Jeff’s reputation quickly followed and he was selected as a Barrister into the Patrick J. Higginbotham Inn of Court. Jeff is also affiliated with the National, Texas, and Dallas Criminal Defense Lawyers’ Associations, and is licensed in all state courts of Texas, the U.S. District Courts of the Northern, Eastern, Western, and Southern Districts of Texas, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces.
